For some reason, I feel like life is just going down the drain.
College was great for a while. Wonderful. Exciting.
Now, I wish that I could just go back in time.
Things are becoming so much more complicated.
I can't clear my mind of these things,
and I don't know where I can start.

When I first came to college, I'd wish to start over new.
A new environment, new school, new friends.
A new life.
But the past seems to follow me everywhere.
It seems to haunt me every single second of the day.
And I can't shake it off.

When they look at me,
I can only smile. I can only laugh.
But when the faces turn,
the facade just fades away.

I don't know what to do.
Talking provides temporary relief,
but eventually, these friends will have to leave.
And I'll be alone.
Alone with my thoughts.
The thoughts that keeps me from moving forward.

And I don't know what to do.
